June, 2003, Cameroonian footballer Marc Vivien Foé while representing Cameroon in the semi-final of the Confederations Cup at the Gerland Stadium in Lyon against Colombia collapsed at the centre of the pitch.
The "Indomitables Lions” were on the verge of victory when the midfielder Marc-Vivien Foé collapsed on the pitch and died instantly.
